Q:  What is a home warranty?

A:  A home warranty provides coverage for homeowners when their home's mechanical systems or appliances break down due to normal wear and tear. The plan covers the cost of repairing the system or appliance.


Q:  What is covered under my home warranty?
A:

  • Heating
  • Electrical System
  • Plumbing System
  • Washer
  • Dryer
  • Water Heater
  • Range/Oven
  • Refrigerator
  • Garbage Disposal

  • Q:  Are there any out-of-pocket expenses?

    A:  For each service request, you will pay a $59 service charge.* 


    Q:  What if I have an appliance that just can’t be fixed?

    A:  If APC determines your covered system component or appliance can’t be repaired by a service contractor, it will be replaced.

     


     Q:  How do I get someone to come to my house when I need a covered item repaired?

     

    A:  Call APC at 407-625-9703 and they will take care of the rest.


    Q:  Will APC provide a service contractor for my repair?

    A:  APC provides qualified contractors who will  invoice APC directly for covered repairs.

     


    Q:  What is the cost of the home warranty plan?

     

    A:  $425 Annually.   Special pricing available through specific property management companies.

     


    Q:  How long does the HSA warranty coverage last?

    A:  Coverage is for 12 months. The warranty is renewable on an annual basis.


    *The service charge fee applies to the initial visit by a technician for each covered item.   Additional charges may apply to some repairs and replacements. 

     

    Systems and appliances will:

     

    1) Be replaced with units that have comparable features, not necessarily the same dimension, color and/or brand;

     2) Must be in good working condition on the effective date of contract;

     3) Designated by the manufacturer as commercial are not covered. Improper maintenance of any covered system or appliance may result in denial of coverage for lack of maintenance.

     

    Refer to contract for specific cancellation provisions. Void where prohibited by law.
